One blade comes down from the top, and and the other comes up from the bottom. The Stainless Steel blades are angled as in the original version, so that the will never dull like traditional razor-blade cutters. In addition to retaining these key components, we have listened to our customers, and added a centering device to this version. Now centering is a breeze!
